FLOCK DESCENDS UPON UPLAND FAMILY

Last week a flock of flamingos made their way to the home of Rick and Pat Mendoza (appropriately so, since a group of flamingos are known as a "pat").  They seemed happy enough there and things were quiet for a few days.

Then, on Sunday morning, this reporter received a call.  "We've been FLOCKED!" shouted Mark Lopez, of Upland.  Upon further investigation it was discovered that, indeed, the Lopezes had been given "the birds."

Jennifer LOVES Flamingos, too!

As it turns out, the Lopez family apparently LOVES flamingos.  Freddie and Jennifer sat among the flock, feeding the fowl and encouraging them to stay.

Devon Lopez stated that she LIKED the flamingos and said they could stay as long as they like.  When it was suggested the the flock be removed, Mrs. Lopez went as far as to hint that the flamingos may be held for ransom, especially since they looked so pretty dancing in her front yard.
